I aim to design environments that delight people and stimulate the senses and imaginations of all types of people and of all ages.

I love to create in collaboration with the users, giving them ownership of the space as well as a deep sense of achievement. Building people up and bettering their environment are invaluable ways to change our world and how people view themselves and their situations. 

The way a space is designed changes the relationships of the people using it and can have very profound effects on their lives. Good planning can create stronger communities, friendlier working environments and more functional home lives. Well designed landscapes can connect us to the earth and each other, building appreciation for people and the wonders of the world around us.

I am also a play advocate who believes that play spaces are not only places to have fun, they are educational tools. with an interactive and open ended environment children learn life-long skills in problem solving, relationship management and innovation that children will carry with them throughout their lives. And besides, play is not just for children, it is for everyone!
